What is a hybrid conference?
In 2021 we will be offering delegates the flexibility to choose between attending the conference venue which is St James Park in Newcastle or joining the event virtually through our online events platform.

We will be offering a limited number of spaces at St. James Park giving you the opportunity to attend the conference in person. We will be following the latest government guidance to ensure the conference is a safe place for you and your colleagues.
We are planning for a hybrid conference, however if circumstances change and it is no longer feasible to run a face to face element then the conference will be converted to fully virtual.
Your conference booking will include:
- Access to the conference venue on both days of the conference
- Catering and refreshments
- Access to the virtual platform
- Priority access to the recordings of each talk for 3 months
The virtual platform
Our virtual conference platform recreates the buzz of a live event and gives you the flexibility to attend Trainee Conference at a time and place that suits you. On the virtual platform you will find:
- Live broadcast of all the talks
- Industry exhibition
- Recordings of every talk available for 3 months after the event
- Poster exhibition
- Networking opportunities
Whilst Trainee Conference 2021 will look different you can still expect the same high quality scientific programme, speakers and networking opportunities.
