We see it as our collective duty to raise awareness and offer practical solutions to help improve the perceptions of fatigue self-assessment and fatigue risk management within the NHS.
As the impact of fatigue is not limited to anaesthesia and intensive care medicine, we're encouraging the support of other healthcare professions, presenting an opportunity for multiple NHS specialties to work together to tackle fatigue in the workplace.
“RCSEd are delighted to support the Fight Fatigue campaign. The campaign will clearly benefit workforce morale, reduce stress and improve patient care” - Professor Mike Griffin, President of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh
If you'd like to officially back our #FightFatigue campaign please email email@example.com. We'd love to hear why you want to back the campaign along with any evidence you have of using the educational resources to inspire change in your workplace.
