Avanti West Coast operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street, taking just over two hours. Other national, regional and local rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station. You can plan your journey with Trainline.
ACC Liverpool is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. Alternatively, you can change at Lime Street onto the Merseyrail underground Wirral Line trains, travelling into to James Street station, which is a 10-minute walk away. If you’re travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street station, inclusive of the cost of your train ticket. Plan your journey here.
The CityLink bus service also runs a circular route around the city and stops at both Liverpool Lime Street and ACC Liverpool.

By car:
From the Wirral, Wales and the M53, leave the M53 motorway at Junction 3 signposted Birkenhead and follow the A552 for the Birkenhead (Queensway) Tunnel and Liverpool City Centre.
From the North, leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Follow to the end of the M58 and then take signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront.
From the South, you’ll need to leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool. At the end of the M62, follow signs for Liverpool City Centre along Edge Lane, picking up and then following signs for The Waterfront. This will take you across town to along the river, where you can continue to the closest car park.
There are 1450 parking spaces available in the on-site Kings Dock Car Park, with accessible bays and electric charging points on every floor. See map and tariffs here. The Kings Dock Car Park and all other on site parking is signposted “Waterfront” on the “available spaces” signs that are found across the city.
By bus:
ACC Liverpool is just five minutes’ walk from the Liverpool ONE retail development bus station, which serves buses from across Merseyside. Liverpool ONE bus station is also the closest service point for long distance coaches from across the UK, with National Express services operating from coach stands one and two.
If you’re travelling by bus from other areas of Merseyside and Cheshire, including the Wirral, you may be dropped off at Queen’s Square bus station. Fortunately, this is an approximately 20-minute walk from ACC Liverpool and will take you through the city centre before bringing you out on the docks.
Additionally, some local services connect to a shuttle bus service.
