Heritage Engagement Intern
Salary: £10,082.80 (£25,207 FTE)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Engagement Intern to join the Heritage Team at the Anaesthesia Heritage Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public engagement, outreach, and partnership-building in a small museum team.
Main purpose of the role
The Heritage Engagement Intern will help deliver and develop activities that connect diverse audiences with the history of anaesthesia. You will contribute to social media and exhibitions, coordinate group visits and events, support our volunteers, and build relationships with schools, community groups, and partner organisations, making the museum’s stories accessible and engaging for all.
This role would suit someone who is starting out in the museums and heritage sector, and is keen to develop skills in public engagement, outreach, and audience development. We’re looking for someone creative, organised, and confident communicating with a wide range of people.
