Funding to deliver the SAFE course
You can apply for funding to deliver the SAFE course overseas. The course is a modular three-day training course in obstetric or paediatric anaesthesia for physician or non-physician anaesthesia providers in low-income countries.
The course has been developed collaboratively by the Association and the WFSA and extensively piloted by a team of trainers under the leadership of the SAFE Steering group.
Applications for funding to deliver the SAFE course are invited from appropriately experienced faculty leaders.
Faculty leaders should have completed a SAFE train the trainer course [link]and taught or attended a SAFE course previously.
