Sir Ivan Magill Memorial Medal for Excellence
This Sir Ivan Magill Memorial Medal for Excellence was established in 1988 to mark the centenary of the pioneering anaesthetist Sir Ivan Magill's birth. This medal is presented in recognition of the outstanding achievements of a leading individual in the specialty of anaesthesia, critical care or pain management.
This is our highest honour and it is awarded only infrequently. It is awarded to anaesthetists and individuals who have actively demonstrated excellence over a significant period through education, research or patient safety at a national or international level.
Successful recipients will receive the Sir Ivan Magill Memorial Medal for Excellence and may be invited to deliver an oration at either Annual Congress or the Winter Scientific Meeting.
Eligibility: Can be awarded to Association members and non-members, non-anaesthetists and non-doctors
