The Irish Standing Committee (ISC) of the Association has vacancies for elected members to join the committee. Nominees must be full members of the Association, living in Ireland and in good standing, and should be proposed and seconded by other full members of the Association also living in Ireland. If you’d like to get involved and help make a difference, why not consider submitting your nomination form to join the committee?
If multiple nominations are received, an election will be held, with full and trainee doctor members residing in Ireland eligible to vote.
Nomination process
- Nominees must be full members of the Association residing in Ireland (consultant and non-consultant, non-trainee doctors)
- Each nomination must be proposed and seconded by two other full members who also reside in Ireland
- Members serve a three-year term, with the option for renewal
- The ISC meets three times per year, either in Dublin or via video conference
