Trainee Conference 2024

Following the success of last years Trainee Conference, which attracted over 300 attendees, we are back again for a fully in person conference. We are excited that we get to meet in person again; this years Trainee Conference will be held in Glasgow at the Grand Central Hotel.

Confirmed Keynote

  • Ms Jamie Aarons, Carbeth, will be discussing 'Motivation, preparation and resilience: The makings of a record-breaking challenge'. Jamie’s move to Scotland from the States in 2005 inspired her to get into trail running, mountain biking and sea kayaking. In May 2023 she took on her most daunting goal yet: a continuous, self-propelled Munro round, aiming to summit all 282 of Scotland’s highest mountains.
  • Ms Nadine Montgomery, Trainee Solicitor, will be discussing - 'Montgomery, The pursuers perspective'. Nadine is working as a trainee solicitor in Clinical Negligence with L&M Medilaw a branch of Levy and McRae solicitors in Glasgow, aiming to provide high quality legal care to individuals throughout Scotland. Nadine is an Ambassador for the unique national charity Baby Lifeline which supports frontline NHS staff to prevent injuries and deaths in and around childbirth.
