The Association of Anaesthetists will be publish new updated Standards of Monitoring in Spring 2021. This webinar will present the new Standards and focus on changes from the previous version published five years ago. There will be in-depth discussion of new technology for monitoring processed EEG and neuromuscular blockade and how this should be used in clinical practice in all our operating theatres and other locations where anaesthesia and sedation are administered. The emphasis will be on simplifying the guidance to allow all clinicians to understand new developments in technology and practice using clinical examples and local protocol developed by experts on the panel.
