Perioperative Allergy Network

This is a multidisciplinary forum for anaesthetists, allergists and immunologists who work in this field, or are interested in doing so. It is UK-wide network created jointly by the Association, the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI) and the British Society of Immunologists Clinical Immunology Professional Network.

The aims of the group:

  1. A forum for shared learning and experience
  2. A way of connecting with others in and beyond your region
  3. A way to find out about educational events and networking meetings

This network is also supported by the Royal College of Pathologists. It is affiliated to the International Suspected Perioperative Reactions Group (ISPAR).

Digital referral process for suspected perioperative allergy

The Perioperative Allergy Network has developed a digital referral process for suspected perioperative allergy which would facilitate central data collection and help ensure patient safety. Currently piloted at two large NHS Trusts, we are looking for additional participating sites over the next two years to help us understand how the system can be adopted and embedded into existing pathways. If you are interested in becoming a pilot site for the PASS system please complete this form.
