In 2013 we established an environmental task group to lead our specialty on environmental matters and green anaesthesia. The task group is now known as the Environment and Sustainability Committee and comprises of 14 members from the Association, the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA), Barema (the Association for Anaesthetic and Respiratory Device Suppliers), the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI) and lay members.
