The Association of Anaesthetists has announced its new Trainee Committee members

We are pleased to announce the successful candidates in our recent election process for the Association of Anaesthetists Trainee Committee.
The following candidates in the Trainee Committee elections will take up their posts at the Trainee Update on 28 June 2024 taking place at the Trainee Conference in Glasgow.
- Dr Joseph Pick, ST6, University Hospitals of North Midland
- Dr Andreas Sotiriou, ST5, University Hospital Lewisham
Trainee Committee officers
Dr Sarah Marsden will be taking on the role of Trainee Committee chair when Dr Stuart Edwardson demits office at the Trainee Update. Dr Marsden will be joined by her fellow officers Dr Ben Evans, Trainee Committee Honorary Secretary, Dr James Brooks, Trainee Committee Vice Chair, and Dr Kathryn Singh, Trainee Network Link officer.
Commenting on this, Dr Sarah Marsden incoming Trainee Committee Chair, said: "After another round of successful elections, I am pleased to be joined as incoming Chair of the Trainee Committee by our two new elected members and a strong team of Officers, and am looking forward to a great year as we continue to work hard to advocate for anaesthetic trainees and the specialty."
