System updates starting 23 May: what you need to know

We are making improvements to our IT systems to give you a better experience when managing your membership online. These essential upgrades will take place from 23 May and are expected to affect our systems over a period of two weeks.

During this time, some services will be temporarily unavailable while we work behind the scenes to make things better for you.

What this means for you

While the upgrade is in progress:

  • Login to ‘My account’ will be unavailable.
  • You will need to use temporary login details to access our journals (Anaesthesia and Anaesthesia Reports). Please see below for more information.
  • Our app, Community forum and Learn@ platforms will be temporarily offline.
  • You will still be able to book for an event or join as a member through a dedicated form, but it will take us longer than usual to process payments.

How to access the Journals

While we upgrade our systems, you will need to use temporary credentials to access the journals.

  1. Navigate to either of the journals' pages on Wiley Online Library (Anaesthesia or Anaesthesia Reports)
  2. Click on ‘Login/Register’ in upper right-hand corner of the screen
  3. Click ‘Institutional Login’ from the drop-down menu
  4. Scroll down to the box labelled ‘Login with your Institution’s username’ and click on ‘Enter the credentials here’

Enter these credentials:

  • Username: AAGBImember
  • Password: Anaesthesia2025%

You will be able to resume using your Association of Anaesthetists login once our systems are online again.
