This webinar on neuromuscular monitoring brings together a group of international experts to update us on using neuromuscular blocking drugs and the reversal agents, neostigmine and sugammadex, to the highest possible standards. Recent guidelines from the USA and Europe on neuromuscular monitoring will be discussed, together with an update on dosing strategies for neuromuscular blocking drugs and reversal agents with warnings of the complications of inappropriate dosing. The technology available to clinicians for accurate and reliable quantitative neuromuscular monitoring will be considered. Throughout the webinar, the speakers will provide anaesthetists of every grade and experience with practical tips on the safest approach to managing neuromuscular block perioperatively.
