About this webinar recording

The webinar will be led by members of the Perioperative Allergy Network (PAN) and is aimed at all grades of anaesthetists, with an interest in perioperative allergy. The first two talks will highlight the immunological mechanisms and clinical presentation of drug allergy before discussing the clinical impact of penicillin allergy labels and the value of de-labelling.  Strategies for establishing a penicillin allergy de-labelling service within the hospital setting will then be discussed, highlighting the 2022 BSACI guidelines and sharing de-labelling experience across Trusts.

Chair: Dr Amy Dodd (Consultant Anaesthetist, Anaesthetic Allergy Lead, North Bristol Trust)
