Pask Award recipients
The Pask Award, named after Prof Edgar A Pask OBE is awarded to anaesthetists who have demonstrated exceptional bravery in the performance of their clinical duties, in a single meritorious act or consistently and faithfully over a long period. Successful recipients will receive the Pask Certificate of Honour.

Catalin Denciu: In recognition of the gallantry taking the initiative, whilst performing your clinical duties, to rescue patients during a severe fire knowing it to be exacerbated by high levels of oxygen and without regard for his personal safety
Ian Roberts: in recognition of the selfless act of bravery at the Bahrain Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2020 in the rescue of French Formula 1 driver Romain Grosjean from a crash and fire
