Excellence in Charitable or Voluntary Service Award

This is a new award for 2026 and recognises anaesthetists who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to charitable or voluntary work that improves patient health, enhances healthcare access, or addresses a specific health issue. It celebrates individuals whose efforts extend beyond their professional duties to make a meaningful and lasting positive impact on patients, colleagues and communities.

All nominated work must be voluntary or charitable in nature (i.e., not part of paid employment) and demonstrate measurable or clearly articulated benefit to health awareness or community wellbeing.

Eligibility: Awarded to anaesthetists. Nominees must be a current Association member.
Nomination: By nomination from an Association member or non-member.

The deadline for nominations is 23:59 on Wednesday 26 August 2026. Awards will be presented at the Winter Scientific Meeting in London in January 2027
