Interested in organising a seminar?

We're looking for new seminar material, both lecture and workshop based.

Have you ever wondered how an anaesthetist makes sure you’re asleep?

At our mixing station, work out the correct drugs dosage for you or a fictional person, and then have a go at injecting your mix into a training model.

Science
An anaesthetist must calculate the correct dose of anaesthetic drugs to make sure the patient feels no pain.

Find out which different drugs are used to ‘put you to sleep’, how to work out the right dosage, why it’s important to get the right drug dosage, and what can happen if you give too much or too little.

Age suitability
9 - 12
