Interested in organising a seminar?

We're looking for new seminar material, both lecture and workshop based.

What is a seminar

The Association is the UK’s leading provider of postgraduate education for all pathways into Anaesthesia. The Association’s seminar programme features leading experts in anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine presenting the latest information and thinking on a variety of key anaesthesia topics. Our seminars are designed to focus on a specific field of interest within anaesthesia and help to build on specialist interests. They offer an intimate learning environment, with a maximum of 50 delegates attending each. Keeping the numbers low encourages delegate and faculty interaction.

About this seminar

This seminar is run jointly with the British Ophthalmic Anaesthesia Society (BOAS).

What you can expect when attending an online seminar:
Great education with experts in their field
Delegate numbers restricted to maximise discussion
Interactive workshops to add to your learning experience

If you are a member of BOAS, please email [email protected] to receive the members fee. Please click here for more information.

Intended audience

Aimed at anaesthetists with an interest in Ophthalmic anaesthesia. Consultant anaesthetists, trainee anaesthetists, SAS anaeathetists.

The aim of this 2-day seminar is to give the candidate an overview of the subspecialty of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia. You will learn about different subspecialties within ophthalmology; the nuance of ophthalmic anaesthesia; learn about ophthalmic block techniques (sub-tenon and peribulbar) in small group hands-on session; and case-abed discussions session covering some common and challenging cases in ophthalmic anaesthesia.
