Delegate fees

Your registration fee covers:

  • Admission to all scientific and educational lectures
  • Access to Industry Exhibition
  • All refreshments and a standing bowl food lunch.

Association members receive special discounts. 

Online booking closes Monday 6 January 2020 at 10:00.

Please note that retired Association members receive a 50% discount

Retired and Honorary Members

Retired members of the Association are entitled to a 50% discount off the full member fee, to book please click the 'book now' button above. 

Honorary members are entitled to free registration, please contact the events team directly to arrange this.

Medical Students

A one-day fee of £65 is available for medical students who are Association members. If you would like to book onto more than one day, you can book on with the two-day and three-day trainee member rates. These rates are bookable online.

Workshops

Delegates wishing to attend any of these sessions will be required to pay a fee in addition to the conference registration fee. This fee will depend on which workshop you attend, please visit the workshops section of this website to see the fees.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests received before 10 December 2019 will receive a full refund minus a £25 administration fee.

On-site Registration

If you are unable to register in advance, you may register on-site. Please make your way to the registration area which will be open from 08:30 on Wednesday 8 January 2020. Please note there will be a £25 surcharge for on-site registrations

Electronic badging

At this event your badge will contain a barcode, this will be scanned on entry so that the Association of Anaesthetists can report on the attendance for each day, the data is kept by the association and NOT divulged to any other parties at any time.

The exhibitors will have the opportunity to hire scanners for data capture, they will only have access to your email and hospital name. If you do not want the exhibitor to scan your badge you can decline their offer.

European & USA Accreditation

The Winter Scientific Meeting 2020 will be accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with15 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme .

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
