About Rusch EZ-Blocker: At Teleflex we are committed to improving the health and quality of people’s lives. Our commitment to you is to ensure you have all the information and support you need to use the Rusch EZ-Blocker effectively. The purpose of this workshop is to enhance knowledge and experience and provide opportunity for you and your clinical teams to be best equipped with the information they need for the effective use of EZ-Blocker.
The Rusch EZ-Blocker is a unique blocker that unlike one-cuff bronchial blockers, has two cuffs which are positioned on the bifurcated distal end of the blocker. The bifurcation mirrors the patient’s lungs at the carina. This patented dual-cuff shape is designed to overcome many of the challenges associated with traditional one-cuff blockers by making placement intuitive – the device is securely seated at the carina to minimise the risk of dislodgement, and there is no danger of resorption lung collapse.
