In this talk Dr Mark Heining will share his experiences of being an overseas visiting examiner for the Royal College of Anaesthetists during the first decade of the 21st Century and include a little history of the customs of the countries he visited which included Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Singapore. Dr Heining’s talk will also consider the view of UK medical education and training and the perpetuation of the prestige and authority of the British Royal Colleges.
