About this recording
It is our responsibility as a community of anaesthetists and surgeons to continually update and refresh our knowledge on how best to care for our patients. The aim of this session is to educate and update on how best we can care for our transgender patients when undergoing any form of surgery and at any point in their transition. We look forward to drawing on the lived experiences of our transgender speakers and healthcare professionals, alongside expert advice from both anaesthetists and surgeons when thinking about both the practical and personal ways in which we can tailor our peri-operative care for each patient.
