GasFest is the Association of Anaesthetists’ new Festival of Anaesthesia, bringing the anaesthesia community together for three days of world-class learning, hands-on experiences, innovation, wellbeing and connection.
Designed as a festival rather than a traditional conference, GasFest puts you in control of your experience. Explore different stages and spaces, discover new ideas, get involved in practical and interactive learning, meet colleagues from across the profession and create a programme that works for you.
Whether you join us for one, two or all three days, expect a fresh approach to learning and an opportunity to celebrate everything you love about anaesthesia.
What to expect
Across three days, GasFest will bring together the anaesthesia and wider peri-operative community for an experience combining:
- World-class clinical and professional education across multiple stages and spaces
- Hands-on workshops, simulation and interactive learning
- Thought-provoking speakers, debates and new ideas
- Innovation and the latest developments in anaesthesia and perioperative care
- Opportunities to connect with specialist societies, industry and colleagues
- Dedicated spaces and experiences to support wellness
- Networking, community and optional social experiences
The programme is being developed with societies from across the anaesthesia community, with speakers, sessions and festival experiences being announced in the run-up to September 2027.
Your Festival Pass
Choose a one-day, two-day or three-day Festival Pass and build your own GasFest experience.
Your Festival Pass includes access to the educational stages, Innovation & Solutions tent as well as lunch, tea and coffee, access to the GasFest app and 5 CPD credits per day.
Workshops and social experiences are booked separately and may carry an additional charge. On-demand access to recorded content can also be added for an extra charge. Some interactive sessions and workshops may not be available on demand.
