About this webinar

This webinar, hosted by RA-UK and the Association of Anaesthetists,  is ideal for consultant anaesthetists, resident doctors, SAS doctors, and other clinicians with an interest in regional anaesthesia who are looking to enhance and expand their everyday practice. Through a series of expert-led presentations and discussions, participants will explore the practical challenges and opportunities involved in embedding regional anaesthesia within modern perioperative care. Topics will include building support among surgical colleagues, establishing and running a successful block room, implementing continuous regional anaesthesia techniques, and delivering safe, efficient care in the day-case setting. Delegates will also gain insights into patient selection, situations where regional anaesthesia may be less appropriate, and the role of intrathecal opioids in contemporary practice. By the end of the webinar, attendees will have a range of practical strategies and evidence-informed approaches that can be applied directly within their own departments to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
