About this event

The Safe Anaesthesia Liaison Group Patient Safety Conference will be held virtually this year on Wednesday 21 October 2026.

The day will provide valuable knowledge for doctors engaged in clinical anaesthesia, pain management and intensive care medicine, and who have an interest in improving patient safety.

More information coming soon.

Abstract submission

Submit your abstract today

Residents are invited to submit abstracts on patient safety, with particular emphasis on the conference theme: patient safety in paediatric anaesthesia.

We welcome submissions that explore reducing harm, improving care processes, or strengthening a culture of safety. Quality improvement initiatives are particularly encouraged, especially those demonstrating measurable outcomes, applying data-driven approaches, or showcasing collaborative efforts to improve clinical practice.

All submissions will undergo review, and the presenting authors of the highest-scoring abstracts will be invited to present their work as either an oral presentation or an ePoster.

Abstracts should describe projects or initiatives with meaningful outcomes and broad relevance. We are particularly interested in work that reflects current thinking and addresses key challenges in patient safety within paediatric anaesthesia.

Submit your abstract ahead of the deadline of 23:59 on Wednesday 12 August 2026. Click the link to create your profile and submit your abstract.
