What is a hybrid conference?
In 2021 we will be offering you the flexibility to choose between attending the conference venue which is St James Park in Newcastle or joining the event virtually through our online events platform. All the talks will be live streamed to virtual delegates through the platform with recordings available for you to watch for up to 3 months following the event.
What is the COVID-secure guidance at the venue?
Your safety is our highest priority. For those attending Trainee Conference 2021 in person we kindly ask you to read our COVID-secure guidance to understand what will be required of you as a delegate, to ensure everyone’s safety at the event. If you have any concerns, please contact us prior to the event taking place. Please note that a dedicated COVID Safety Officer will also be available onsite at the conference.
What happens if I can no longer attend the physical part of the conference?
With the current uncertainties around travel restrictions due to the pandemic, we understand that delegates plans may change and some may not be able to travel to our conference. We will be as flexible as possible to allow delegates to switch registration types between physical and virtual attendance before the conference.
What is included in my registration fee for a physical conference?
Your booking for the physical conference will include access to the venue on both days to watch the scientific content live, catering and refreshments will also be provided. You will also have full access to the virtual platform allowing you to watch recordings of the talks, view poster abstracts, network with other delegates and view the exhibition.
What is included in my registration fee for the virtual conference?
By registering for the conference you will gain access to all of our scientific content, keynotes, exhibition, posters and networking opportunities. Priority access to the recordings of the content will be available for you to view after the conference for all conference attendees.
Will there be an exhibition?
There will be virtual booths, symposia, and networking opportunities with exhibitors just like you would expect from a physical conference. Unlike a traditional conference, this year our exhibition will open before the main event starts and after the close of the conference. There will be dedicated times in the programme on the live days to talk to industry.
