About this online seminar

Recognising the extreme pressure anaesthetists have all been working under over the last year, the Association would like offer a platform for reflection and to gather thoughts and opinion on how the pandemic has impacted wellbeing.  

This Wellbeing Town Hall online event will take place on Tuesday 27 April 2021. It is a closed session, specifically for Links (Consultant, SAS or Trainee) and Wellbeing Leads. 


If you are a Link (Consultant, SAS or Trainee) or Wellbeing Lead and wish to attend this complimentary wellbeing event please send an email to events@anaesthetists.org. If you can’t attend, please invite a colleague who is an Association member from your department.

Joining the online seminar

You can log in from the comfort of your own home, your office, or any where else that is convenient. All you need is a decent internet connection and a quiet room. We encourage all delegates to attend online seminars live to ensure you get the most out of the learning experience and interaction with the speakers.Please ignore questions about access and dietary requirements during the booking process. Further details will be sent automatically via email.

We will also be sending a link to a Moodle page with further resources for the seminar. Please ensure the email we have for you is correct, and remember to check for updates in that email account in the week prior to the online seminar.

Wellbeing webinar

After the Wellbeing Town Hall has finished (at 16:30) we shall be holding a webinar on Wellbeing (17:00-20:00). This Wellbeing webinar is free to members and builds on the themes of the wellbeing webinar series delivered throughout the pandemic. Twenty minute talks include: wellbeing and growth after the pandemic, reflections from a wellbeing lead, the ‘catastrophe’ in anaesthesia and psychological safety. Before the talks, a yoga teacher will lead a practice tailored towards anaesthetists.
