Interested in organising a seminar?

We're looking for new seminar material, both lecture and workshop based.

About this webinar

This is the fifth in our free webinar series entitled 'COVID-19: The challenges continue' and will focus on how issues facing entire departments can be addressed. We have some great lectures planned including two joint Association/OAA lectures, two ICU focused lectures and a trainee-focused session. Speakers include Professor Mike Grocott, Professor Catherine Nelson-Piercy, Dr Nuala Lucas, Dr Chris Carey and Prof Jaideep Pandit.

We hope to address concerns and provide support for all, as we do our best to deliver optimum front line care in a unique environment.

You can log in from the comfort of your own home, your office, or anywhere else that is convenient. All you need is a decent internet connection and a quiet room. If you are unable to attend live, do not worry, you will be automatically sent the recording 24 hours after the webinar, whether you attend or not.

Organiser and Chair: Prof William Fawcett, Chair of Education, Association of Anaesthetists

Talks include:
  • Dr Nuala Lucas - Covid-19 and obstetrics - an update
  • Prof Catherine Nelson-Piercy - The sick obstetric COVID patient - an Obstetric physician's perspective
  • Prof Jaideep Pandit - PPE, PHE and COVID-19: ‘Montgomery in reverse’
  • Dr Chris Carey - COVID-19 Training Update
  • Prof Mike Grocott - COVID-19 and ICU: learning by doing in the UK
