About this event

The Patient Safety Conference is taking place in London this year. The programme will be themed around paediatrics.

Topics include:
• Why drug errors happen - Dr Radha Ravi, Liverpool
• NCEPOD and the Child Health Outcome Review Programme - Dr Kathy Wilkinson, Norfolk
• Why children die - Dr James Fraser, Bristol
• Standardising airway equipment - Dr Richard Craig, Liverpool

Abstracts:
Trainees are welcome to submit an abstract entry outlining a patient safety project relating to paediatrics that they have completed. Abstracts should detail a project or an initiative with interesting outcomes relevant to the wider audience, and demonstrate an understanding of current thinking and challenges in paediatric patient safety. Selected accepted abstract submitters will be invited to display a poster and present their work at the conference.

*The deadline for submission will be 23:59 on Wednesday 26 August 2019. Late submissions will NOT be accepted.
