Starting out in a SAS role can be a challenging moment for many new anaesthetists. Often these anaesthetists are either stepping out of training into a role that can feel less organised and structured or it may be their first job in the UK and NHS. As a result it can be somewhat bewildering to navigate the new role, to understand the requirements for appraisals and training and to develop as an anaesthetist within the role.
The aim of this webinar is to support and advice for to those in the role and these issues. We plan to talk about contractual issues, appraisal, career development, study leave and CPD and top-tips for doctors starting out. This will be delivered by SAS anaesthetists, including those earlier in their careers and those who are more experienced.
We will provide an environment where individuals can speak openly about this and ask questions to SAS doctors who are all at different stages of their SAS career..
Login will be available from 18:45, but the broadcast will not start until 18:00.
