About this webinar
Many of us gained a chance to see medicine's best kept secret (a career
in anaesthesia) through chance meetings with kind anaesthetists taking
us under their wing, or lucky selection of modules and electives as
undergraduates. We want to create equity of opportunity for those who
haven't had those experiences, and to introduce you all to our world.
This is the first in a series of webinars designed by anaesthetic
trainees, for future anaesthetic trainees. We're going to give you a
rundown of life as an anaesthetist, the skill required, and the many
career paths it opens up for you. There will also be significant time
allowed for Q&A and discussion with a group of current anaesthetic
trainees of all levels, so that we can give you the reality of what life
is like. We love our specialty, and we want you to love it too.
Login will be available from 17:45, but the broadcast will not start until 18:00.
Joining the webinar
You can log in from the comfort of your own home, your office, or any where else that is convenient. All you need is a decent internet connection and a quiet room. Please ignore questions about access and dietary requirements during the booking process. Joining details will be sent automatically via email - please ensure the email we have for you is correct, and remember to check for updates in that email account in the week prior to the webinar.
