About this seminar
This seminar is aimed at all anaesthetists with an interest in wellbeing. It is an interactive, experiential day, which builds on the Association of Anaesthetists' long history of supporting members. We will explore approaches to enhance wellbeing in the workplace, listen to members concerns and develop plans for the future.

Topics include:
• Moral injury – what it means for anaesthetists
• Wellbeing – the Clinical Director’s perspective:
• If you don't change direction soon, you'll end up where you're going
• Bullying / Incivility
• Mentoring and Wellbeing
• Wellbeing – putting it all together and resources
• Yoga for anaesthetists

The Wellbeing seminar includes a Yoga for Anaesthetists' workshop. There will be a short yoga practice which will include focus on breathing and some gentle movements. Delegates take part at their own risk, however it is worth pointing out that the risk of injury is low. The session will be led by a trained yoga teacher who will be able to answer questions about participating before the session begins. Delegates should wear comfortable clothes e.g. what you might wear to the gym.
