About this seminar
Following the success of the Ultrasound of the Spine (USSPINE) workshop at Annual Congress 2019, this condensed workshop aims to provide a basic overview on the benefits in performing ultrasound scanning to the back to facilitate lumbar punctures, spinal & epidural insertions.  It is suitable for all grades of anaesthetists & physicians. The day will feature Lectures in the morning, and hands-on demonstrations in the afternoon. This is a perfect opportunity to build up your confidence!

Topics include:

• Setting up the ultrasound machine
• Evidence behind Ultrasound of the Spine for Central Neuraxial Blocks and Lumbar Puncture
• Lumbar Spine Sonography
• Difficult scans
• Live scanning demonstrations
• Hands on practical sessions - Delegates will rotate between the four scanning stations

The confirmed programme will be available shortly.
