About this seminar
Anaesthetic practice is unavoidably associated with complications. Whilst many of these are minor and lead to no harm, some of the complications are serious and their avoidance and management is essential in modern anaesthesia practice. This seminar is run by experts in their fields and discusses a variety of general issues relating to perioperative complications and specific groups of complications, including cardiovascular, respiratory, and complications associated with regional anaesthesia. The seminar also offers knowledge on managing complications and complaints and litigation.

Topics include:
• Nerve Injury and Anaesthesia
• Allergy and Anaphylaxis in Anaesthetic practice
• Death on the Table
• Post-Operative Cognitive Deficit
• Appearing in Coroners Court
• Obesity Related Anaesthetic Complications
